Vizio rolls out HDR10 support for SmartCast P-Series and M-Series 4K TVs

Vizio has announced that it's started rolling out a new firmware update for the company's SmartCast P-Series and M-Series 4K TVs that enables support for the HDR10 specification. That's very important for the (very few) people who currently own a 4K Blu-ray player or, just recently, the Xbox One S. Now, Vizio's SmartCast TVs are capable of displaying those HDR 4K Blu-rays in all their glory — and that high dynamic range does add more to the viewing experience over the boost in resolution that regular 4K gets you.
